A long living room under blackened chestnut beams, anchored by an open stone fireplace that is lit from the first cool evening of autumn. Deep linen sofas, worn terracotta and shelves of books collected over generations.

Rooms turned toward the vines
Four bedrooms, each with its own character and view down the terraced rows. Iron beds dressed in heavy linen, shuttered windows that open to birdsong, and the particular stillness that only old, thick walls can hold.
The bath
Stone, water and light
The principal suite is given a freestanding stone shower beneath a west window, set to catch the last gold of the evening. Below, an original vaulted cantina keeps the villa's own wine at cellar temperature all summer.
