The architecture
A house that steps back, so that the
landscape can step forward.
Villa Oliveto was built low into the olive terraces from local stone and long
planes of glass, so that from within it seems to disappear. There are no
corridors, no clutter, no wasted view - only a sequence of calm, luminous
rooms that give way, always, to the hills.

A single, unbroken horizon
The living space runs the full length of the house behind a wall of glass that slides away entirely. Inside and terrace become one room; the olive terraces and the far blue hills become the only decoration.

Bedrooms carved from stone and shadow
Three suites, each a quiet cube of local pietra serena and oak, framing a single considered view. Deep, cool, silent — rooms built for sleeping late and reading long.

The bath, open to the sky
A monolithic stone bath sits in a courtyard of its own. Bathe at dusk to the sound of cicadas and the scent of the groves.
