Our Essence
Pensieri is Italian for "thoughts". The name is a promise: everything
here exists so they can finally be left to their own rhythm. The houses
of Pensieri di Sotto and Pensieri di Sopra, restored with care for their
Tuscan character, stand among vineyards, ancient olive trees and
gardens of Mediterranean herbs. Siena lies just beyond the horizon.
Chianti Classico is all around.
The Estate
Vineyard
Vines twenty to fifty years old, farmed organically, every grape picked by hand. These hills give us our Chianti Classico DOCG, the Riserva and our Tuscan IGTs — to be tasted glass by glass, a few steps from your room.
