The charm of tradition in renewed dress
Pensieri di Cavatina today is an elegant and welcoming estate, but its history has its roots in the 19th centurywhen the ancient farmhouses within the property hosted the farmers who were distributed between the lower part called “Pensieri di Sotto” and the upper part called “Pensieri di Sopra”. The hills surrounding these cottages typical of the Tuscan countryside were even then spotted with historic rows of vines and lush olive groves.
A new life
The deep love we feel for this corner of Tuscany prompted us to give new life to these farms, recovering them from the state of neglect in which they had fallen over the years. In 2019 we started the renovation work, aimed at valorizing the original structures, renewing the ancient ruins and the extensive cultivated areas to create the ideal place to live a dream: comfortable and finely furnished rooms, an elegant restaurant overlooking the Chianti Classico hills, an organic farm producing wines and EVO oil according to tradition.
